Picea glauca 'Pendula'

Plants are sometimes referred to as exclamation points in the garden. Picea glauca ‘Pendula’ is iconic in that group. With both an exquisite weeping habit and a narrow upright form, few plants can rival this statuesque conifer.

The short blue-green needle of white spruce provides a color that allows ‘Pendula’ to use the rich blue of the sky to be its stage as it grows upward.

The Picea glauca, white spruce, is remarkably versatile growing from zone 2, as far north as Manitoba, Canada, to zone 7, southern US, states like Tennessee.
